About Our Principals:
HI-TECH is a national provider of cleaning, fire and flood remediation and maintenance services to property managers, retailers, builders, hotels and country clubs. A thoroughly trained network of professionals provides local service in every one of the 50 states, as well as Canada, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. HI-TECH is certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) and is a member of the New York Association of Realty Managers (NYARM).
Founded in 1994, by Edward Bell and Warren Regent, as a carpet cleaning company, HI-TECH quickly expanded its scope of services by strictly adhering to the company’s philosophy:
RESCUE
- Reliability – every scheduled service appointment is re-confirmed and tracked by computer.
- Emergency – fire and flood remediation service is provided seven days a week, 24 hours a day. First responders will get to the emergency within two to three hours. A full response team, together with state-of-the-art equipment, will arrive within 12 hours. Professional supervision and accurate, detailed records will be maintained until the property is restored to its normal condition.
- Satisfaction – customer satisfaction is not a slogan with HI-TECH – it is a credo. Every job is followed up with a personal contact to the property manager, store manager or superintendent to ensure total satisfaction.
- Commitment – customers know that when they give a job to HI-TECH, it will be carried out to the highest standard – and it will be completed on time. Every employee and every associate shares in this commitment to our customers.
- Understanding – the needs of our clients include a lot more than exceptional performance at the job site. HI-TECH’s precise record-keeping provides a service trail with detailed information that is invaluable in keeping our customers better informed. Completed Work Orders, together with accurate billing, eliminate costly nuisance work for our clients’ support staff. HI-TECH also understands the need for accurate, detailed reports that may be required to document an insured loss by the customer.

Our Principals:
Edward Bell, President
With over 30 years experience in the building maintenance industry, as a sales manager from 1972 to 1978 for an international manufacturer of maintenance products and coatings, and a principal in his own firm prior to launching HI-TECH, Edward Bell knows every aspect of property maintenance. His technical expertise covers the entire range of chemicals and equipment, as well as the techniques utilized in their application. He has been certified in carpet cleaning and water damage restoration by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification.
Warren Regent, Vice President
Warren Regent brought 30 years of property management experience with him when he co-founded HI-TECH in 1994. In those years, he was involved in co-op, condo and rental property management as well as construction services. He is an expert at analyzing and solving physical plant problems from leaks to floor and metal restoration. A native New Yorker, he is also an occasional guest lecturer at New York University’s Real Estate Institute.
